Formally owner of the Silly Fish Shops in Bristol and Bath in the 1990's and artist in residence at Glasnost Restaurant in Totterdown, Alce still exhibits widely in Bristol despite her escape to Somerset in 1999.
Specializing in colour, her latest creations on canvas have come about after discovering a great 'runny' acrylic paint which has given her work a unique contempoary feel. Using her love of florals and pop art combined these striking creations are proving very popular, especially with her galleries in London.
Alce will also exhibit colourful landscapes and limited edition prints of Bristol and Bath.
