Artists 2007 > Brenda Duddington

I use coloured wool to make both abstract and representational images in felt, adding machine embroidery to embellish and finish the pieces which are then mounted on coloured card. I also make felt vessels from coloured wool in organic shapes.

My prints are mainly abstract using a variety of inking techniques. I am especially interested in viscosity printing which enables the use of three or more colours to be printed from one etching plate. I also have several embossed images of a Mandala on black and on white etching paper, made from an etching plate, which are subtle but lovely when they catch the light.
