My work is fuelled by the varied countryside in Somerset however the majority is produced studios in London. I feel a strong sense of belonging in Somerset. The majority of my work originates from various walks I have made and I also tend to produce work from locations that I have visited many times, places that when I shut my eyes I can still visualise. I will always have a personal memory of the image I intend to use. Working only from field sketches or photographs, I am always content with my imagery while relishing the surprise element of the screen-printing.
