My work is object based because there is so much to explore. Imogen Cunningham, a photographer in the early part of the 20th centuary, described the hand of an artist and the subject matter are connected by a thread that is delicate and tenuous. When I deal with an object be it a piece of fruit or a set of cutlery I find myself tracing memories that make use of the objects. Memories that shroud an object with not one complete version rendering the retelling of history as incomplete.
