I love the feeling of making marks freely and instinctively with colour, never quite knowing what will come out in painting. I love the reflected light, the pools of colour and the transformation from solid to liquid, and back to solid, in the glass. The two mediums have a supportive relationship in my practice, each one informing the other through their differences and similarities.
